Great upgrade from an HTC Evo 3D
I upgraded to the S3 from an HTC Evo 3D. Much much more system memory and a better camera. It is also a little faster than the Evo even though they both have dual core processors. I bought an oversized battery from Amazon so I can't comment on the stock battery. The form factor with the extra battery thickness is about as big as I would go. Replacing a broken phone

Cracked Screen
The screen was cracked at the upper left. The messages on that part of the screen are hard to see sometimes because of the fractures.
