I have to say I live this bulb!! It has the look of a traditional bulb, but in a LED. which is awesome, however do not buy these if you own a European car like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or VW. I changed out the parking lights in my BMW X1 and while they still work they constantly give the error message when I start my car. They look awesome, but flicker a little due to it giving the error message. So buy these if you don't have the the car brands listed above or don't mind installing a ballast in the line. Just wanted to warn others with similar cars like mine that it could have an error. Just bought Canbus LEDs for my car.

$13 isn't a lot of money to spend but to spend it on (2) 194 LEDs, that's a little on the pricy side. I gave these a try because I wanted some good quality LEDs for my parking lights but, the cap that covers the actual led broke off from me simply holding it and taking it out of the package. Had to glue it back together before I can install them in my car to prevent the cap from falling into the headlight housing. The light is pretty decent, it does shine a white, just could be a little brighter. Mainly, I just wish that the quality of them was a little bit better.

Too fed up with cheap imitations of w5w LED bulbs, I decided to get the real deal and go with a known quality name brand, Philips. I couldn't get more than a month out of one off brand led w5w, you never know when one would go out or start blinking randomly. Right out of the package, these scream quality, quality that I haven't had in quite a while in regards to this particular bulb type. The connectors are solid, overall solid construction and more of a consistent white light instead of the bluish purplish light of the cheap no name brands. I'm a light bulb snob, I have swapped all my lights at home to led, swapped what I can in my car with led and am happy with these. I know what works in regards to lighting, and these work.

You want the highest quality in LED, this is the part to buy. Wether it be for 194/168 or other wedge type bulb, these will not let you down in quality and performance. The white is a true bright white and not a blue white. The lumens is also super bright but not over powering where it is blinding I’ve personally used generic, no name brands before these and I’ll tell you this, once I switched over, I never went back In fact, for both of my vehicles, I have purchased a total of 5 sets to use and plan on purchasing at least 2-4 more sets in the future

So far, so good. I've learned over the years to spend a little more upfront for LEDs, and getting a 10 pack of cheap ones for the same price. You'll burn through those quickly with a high failure rate, while tried and true brands like Philips don't disappoint, they keep on shining when others can't. They are a nice strong 'daylight' white, without being too blue. Work perfectly in my new Camaro.

I'd been running the cheap Chinese LEDs and swapped out for these ones. The difference was night and day. To anyone who thought they'd try to save money by buying cheap ones and didn't get what they were expecting, these are what you want. Do yourself a favor. Do it right the first time. Photo included: Philips on the left, off brands on the right.
