These headphones are awesome and on par with or better than other well known brands. The touch pads on the side of the ears are easy to use and very intuitive. The battery life is very acceptable 1+ day of usage and the unit is surprisingly lightweight given all the features -- another piece around the battery is how the unit shuts off when you twist the headphones back for storage purposes. The microphone for taking calls is clear and recipients have noted as such on calls I have taken. Lastly, the pads are comfortable and cover your ear nicely. Only have had for 2.5 weeks, but definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I am invested in several "at home" listening headphones, but these are so good for travel. They are comfy, light, look great, and sound awesome. Very clear upper range, but a bit more pronounced low-end (my preference). It's great for travel and outdoor use!

Classic studio and reference headphones among the first to use Diffuse-Field equalization. What is excellent and notable about these is how balanced sounding they are, even considering open-backs , this really has a natural presentation. I prefer its signature over the HD650, just as it has a bit more pure treble tilt to it and more naturally present low-end. Pad quality and seal can dramatically change the sound. Detail and quality should be up there with the HD650. While less soundstage than the 650, I would say the imaging is better, so it is still one of the most expansive sounding closed headphones (less so than a D2000 but better in some ways). Bass quality is very good, but for some reason you can't really EQ it up if you wanted this to become a bass monster. It is very balanced and stays that way. Prefer the tonal balance to my LCD2 as well. It is less splashy and again more accurate than the D2000. All great in their own right.Read full review

These are very good for the price. Good sound quality at high db levels (if you like), easy hook-up, good charginging system, light weight and very clear sound depending on the source. Also good to at least 120ft. away from the source.

I was very happy that this seller was able to work with me when I could not pay right away. I was unclear as to the 'place an offer' feature when I went to click on it. So, more or so out of curiosity,I wanted to see if a price I had in mind would go through- Not knowing that it would go through at that very minute in time and give me the option to say YES OR NO to the purchase. So, come to find out- that I did actually buy it with my offer I put in. I recommend that everyone read the Ebay terms prior to clicking anything! Don't play guessing games like I did! You may not have a friendly outcome like I did!
NO Transformer. knew that when I bid. I was shocked at the great condition as it was coming from a Salvation Army outlet. Came give them enough praise. Would not hesitate to buy from or support their cause. Please donate great foundation.

When I first used these they sounded like tin cans. Very muted and stale. After several hours of use they sounded signifcantly better. I definitely recommend these! Check out the head-fi forums for reviews on these.
