Great for Poster storage, flattening and viewing
I use this portfolio to collect and store concert posters. Most of the posters I get are rolled up from Uline tubes from the shows or shipped that way by other collectors, so getting them into the top of each plastic sleeve in the portfolio pages, especially the left sleeve when open, is sometimes hard. But once they get in there, the weight flattens the posters over time. So not only is this portfolio good for storage and viewing, its good for flattening posters which happens in days, not weeks or months. Viewing posters in the sleeves is very easy. The Portfolios store flat and do not take up a lot of space. Right now I have 3 of them. A collector needs to be careful, when the portfolio is used and carried, posters can creep up a little bit in the sleeves which could expose them to damage on the top edges of the posters. But the plastic extension of the portfolio above the internal sleeves protects them a little bit. To prevent that, I just tap the portfolio on the floor right side up with all the posters in the portfolio to shift that posters down into their sleeves. I only have 2 posters out of 150 that are too large for this portfolio.Read full review

Stiff Cover, Permanent Mounted Pages, Good Protection for your Paper Items.
I purchased this item to store and show off my Cool Posters and Artwork. I ended up with 3 of them that have damaged spines (cracked down the hard plastic spine), Scuffed covers, and some wrinkled pages that are kind of falling out due to the cracked spines. I gave up trying to get a perfect one. They finally refunded then sent a different size as replacement. Besides the issues with the vendors packaging and previously damged items, I do like these units and I am still able to use a couple of them as storage. Once you slide the item in from the top it's safer to look at and not get your finger prints on it. You still need to be a little carefull because you could still bend the picture or it could slide close to the hings and maybe get bent when you flop the pages open (This may not be an issue in an undamged item).Read full review

Exactly as expected
It's exactly as expected: 24 clear sheets. Black paper in each clear sheet enables 48 views. The sheets and album itself aren't as durable as Itoya's same sized refillable version. But this version is good value considering it's half as expensive as the refillable version.

I have several Itoya portfolio's this one handles the bigger pieces (think Frazetta!). Great item easy to keep, display and carry. The black is clean and classic. There are many sizes including landscape display. Show your pictures and artwork better than any coffee table book!
