I bought this phone not really for a phone, but my Ipod Touch was broken and it would cost a minimum of $200 to repair. Since it was an older model, I thought I'd be better off buying a new one. However, they are still pretty pricey, even used ones. Then I figured I can just buy a phone instead. I use it mainly for music and photos so I wanted the biggest capacity. I do use it for e-mails and such when traveling. We use different phones for work. I started it up with my regular SIM card, then took it back out. It works great with the office WIFI and has enough room for all my items. Was a great buy, and I can use it as a phone when I travel so I only need one gadget, and it syncs with my Ipad and Macbook. I am very happy with this purchase.
History: Enjoyed the Nokia 5800. Gave $ 1,000 and decided to spend on a smartphone which is so long dreamed. At the time of purchase was the latest model iPhone 4S! The beauty of the 4s4g AT&T unlock is that you can buy a very I expensive monthly plan to use it. Personally, I run the phone through wifi as it is everywhere and barely use my plan at all because it has limits. On wifi the phone is much faster and is boundless. But inorder to do this you have to buy enough storage and spend a little extra to have the 64gb. It is well worth the cost as every single phone company Would have charged more than the cost of the phone and the low monthly plan the first year. However the following year the cost of the phone drops significantly as I am only paying for the service plan and again I do not really use my service plan because I run the phone through wifi everywhere I am at. The service plan is simply a back up for when I am in areas that do not have open wifi. You can only do this with AT&T unlocked phones. The second year I am paying the same amount for a service plan that I would for a lifeline. The dynamic display and features are great. I bought an otter case for it on ebay and I have dropped it on the floor in the case (I do not recommend this) and the phone did not break. It is much sturdier in the case than I thought it would be. It was an exceptional buy for the price and has been a huge help In our lives as the life line was not reliable.Read full review
