Good Space, Cute Size, Overall Reliable Phone - iphone 4s
I bought my iphone 4s 1.5 years ago (Aug 2016).
With 64 GB of hard drive space, I have been able to download memory- heavy apps like Google and Amazon Prime. Plus, I have been able to download a lot of podcasts.
The native Mail app is basic but good. I access my work, school, and 2 personal e-mail accounts from it.
I do wish the iphone would let me customize my homes pages, where I could see widgets (like a full-sized calendar) on them instead of all my apps. (I know Android phones have these options.) But, I can deal with this. Especially since there is so much space for photos!
Apple it seems is no longer updating the 4s software. I have iOS 9.3.5 and am told that my "software is up to date." What this means is I can't download every app in the App Store, since many have begun requiring iOS 10.
Safari has problems where it says that some problem has occurred and so has to reset itself. This hasn't led to me losing stuff, but it does slow my website reading down. This is annoying but I do prefer the look and ease of Safari when it works as it should.
The phone call volume is excellent, if not on the loud side.
Another feature I really like is the size of the phone. It is small and about the size of a credit card and not very thick either.
I dropped my phone and cracked the back glass. But not the camera lens! I never had a problem with the Androids I had before this iphone, so this means the phone is a bit delicate. Put it in a case.
Despite the issues I have had/have with my 64GB iphone 4s, I am really happy I bought it. The space for pictures, apps, messages, etc., the solid camera, the ease of use, and the portability make this a nice phone. Read full review
