These are good quality, sturdy flashlights, despite the "Stranger Things" gimmick. The LED is bright, the button has a positive click and once on can be pressed for momentary activation and signaling. There is a small "secret" compartment on the battery cap with a little paper strip containing a message--kinda a neat little feature. It uses and comes with 2 Energizer (the best retail batteries you can get, IMO) D cell batteries. Unsure about the runtime with the D cells, but it's an LED, so it should last a while with intermittent use--as most people use a flashlight. Still working on the long-term durability assessment.
