I was extremely happy to have won the auction for this item, as I missed out on the chance to pre-order it at retail (No thanks to scalpers and their online buying bots)! I was also very pleased to see that the seller was offering this item at retail price, instead of some ludicrous double markup. I have been a fan of the Metroid series of games since the very beginning in 1987 with the first Metroid game on the Nintendo Entertainment System. When the series transitioned into a first-person-shooter-style game in 3-D on the Nintendo GameCube, I could not get into the series! Fast forward to the present day, and this new title was announced as a return to the previous side-scrolling 2-D style of gameplay... I was ALL IN!!! This game is beautiful in art style (graphics are fine... I don't need Ultra 4K visuals... as that usually means the game is devoid of story and character) and extremely engaging (if not very difficult) in terms of gameplay! I would highly recommend it to seasoned veterans of the franchise as well as newcomers!!!Read full review

Excellent modern entry into the classic 2d Metroid series. This limited edition is huge and chock full of excellent extras that are a must for Metroid fans! Because the box is quite large, careful packing is required so as not to damage it.
