Well the manufacturer is reputable, there r many versions of this knife that r hits. So this variation with k390 steel is aswell. And this product was sold with all the newness and quality as would be expected. Also i edc this even for food and the k390 is more corrosion resitant then expected , even with the minimum of just wiping off moisture, not even adding oils
