I looked up the Dell E6320 Latitude model laptop online. Some websites show the E6320 as including the normal little webcam lens up top of the screen, and others don’t. My bad for assuming, but i thought that pretty much all laptops had a camera. My motive was to use this solely for Skype. So, nbd, i go buy a add-on usb webcam. Still a great deal including the cost of a clip-on webcam! The setup went smoothly. These are steps i followed to ensure a smooth and fast setup the next day. 1. Unpacked and used yellow highlighter on the instructions that were on a handout when i opened the lid if the laptop. Important to observe: the new Windows 10 PRODUCT KEY number was photocopied on the handout. Needed for installation setup later. Highlight that. 2. I plugged the power cord into the wall and into the back of the computer WITHOUT STARTING IT UP. Let it charge overnight. Maybe not required, but i always do it with new lithium battery powered devices. 3. Next day, i plug a network cable (connected to my router box and to the computer directly). I always do this bc hardwired connection to the internet makes big downloads from the internet go about 5-10x faster than wifi. And since these laptops usually are on the shelf after refurbishment for 6 months or more, the Windows 10 in the laptop will need to download a fair quantity of updates, which can be done via wifi but at a MUCH slower rate. 4. After the automated setup procedure says its finished, you need to set up a Windows id on your laptop. Best to have a password app on your phone to record what the ID and password you used on your laptop. Always netter to have a password storage app in your phone (using your fingerprint or face as its password). 5. They tell you that theres a free Office Software package that comes on your laptop. Its true, but its a little hard to locate the setup package for it. Its very good and is free and is 100 percent compatible with all the files that the MS OFFICE programs make. So search in the file system for it, double-click on it, and it will set all the 6 apps up. 6. Follow the instructions on the handout to activate your Windows 10. It will whir and spin and eventually ask you for the 25 character long PRODUCT KEY. Type VERY CAREFULLY do not mess this up. Copy letter/number perfectly from the handout (or label on the bottom of the laptop) after you typed all 25 characters and clicked on continue, it will inform you that your computer is legit (activated). This is when you reach around you and pat yourself on the back.Read full review

Battery life was fairly short ( 1.5 hours), and even though the description states Touchscreen in two places, it isn't until you get to the lower half of the page that you find out that it is an add-on option. And, contrary to the communication there, checkout didn't require choosing whether or not you want the Touchscreen feature. However, the laptop works fine and looks good.

Very nice, compact, and operates slot faster than other laptops I have used with the same amount of memory and the same processor. This laptop works perfect for what I bought it for and I would really recommend it to someone looking for a nice, compact laptop with pretty impressive speed. And the price was very reasonable!

This laptop was a corporate lease return, so it's a few years behind the very latest and greatest technology. However, its specs compare favorably with many new laptops and it was much cheaper. There were a couple of cosmetic blemishes, but they were very minor and don't bother me at all. It will only be used in my home office, where the laptop it replaces was always used. Because I don't travel with it, the extra couple of pounds between it and one that costs a thousand dollars more don't matter. I use my phone for everything when I'm out with customers. As far as I can tell, this is a good one, and I smile when I think of how little I had to pay versus the prices I was seeing on the new ones.

The battery life is not exceptional but works for me. Does not have a backlit keyboard which I miss but there is a link on Dell on how to add one. I am not clear that it is effective. I got the 8 gig and that is crucial -- it is meeting most of my needs. The first thing you need to do is go to Dell and update the BIOS. Then update all the drivers. It's pretty heavy but I did not get it to be portable and carry around, just to have a handy way to do a few things when I am not near my other computers. It's good, it's fast and works fine for my needs. I really love the keyboard (except for not being lit). The bounce on the keys, the size of the keys, probably the best keyboard experience I have ever had on a laptop, including a much, much more expensive laptop I use for business. When I replace my work laptop, I will look at the new LaTitudes because I love the keyboard so much. Not sure that little mouse button in the middle of the keyboard is useful but other than that love it. Also, I love the brushed chrome exterior. It's pretty and does not show smudges.Read full review
