It's not magic but it provides great protection.
I like the texture . . firm but not stiff in the little jar. It does not irritate the skin at all. It does not magically heal the lips, but it provides a shield to the lips against the drying factors of the sun or forced hot air home heating systems. It can help with severely cracked skin until the weather clears up, or your time in the sun is reduced, so the skin can have an opportunity to heal itself.
