This glue is way better than your typical stuff you can get anywhere. It's stronger, easy to use, and really does the job. This variety is a little thicker, more for filling gaps and such. I mostly use it with baking soda to make a highly durable surface that can be machined, sanded or manipulated in other ways. You might want to get the thin variety of this same brand, it also works well in many cases, but is very thin and might run if you're not extremely careful. This thicker variety has much less of that problem. They make other varieties as well for your specific needs. One kit even comes with the baking soda for filling. Yes, it's strong that way, they use the same stuff to repair dents and dings on carbon fiber helicopter blades, it's that strong

The medium gap filling CA is great for buying a few seconds and for pieces not totally flush. The super thin is really scary fast and will glue your fingers to whatever you are working on in a blink of an eye. Both serve their purpose.

I use this Insta-Cure glue frequently when weaving baskets. It dries fairly quickly and once completely diried it is solid and definitely as a secure bond. Would recommend this product.
