This MP3 player is working out well for me thus far. I got this one because it claimed to have a long battery life and could organize everything in categories. I mainly use it for when I go to work out. I have a arm band and it seems to work out great! I recharge it maybe 3 times a week. It holds the battery life well. I've used it as an alarm clock several times and found the voice recording extremely clear! You can make playlists though it is limited on how many you can put on each playlist. You can listen to the FM radio and if you have everything well organized on your computer you shouldn't have a problem transferring audio books onto the MP3. Great MP3 for loading hundreds of songs and pictures. Comes with Media Go software that allows you to conveniently store your items. The instruction manual is read via your computer screen, there is no paper instruction manual included. Instructions for creating playlists are not clear and the instruction guideline could be improved upon. I went on line and found a much clearer explanation of how to create playlists. Control buttons could be a little more recessed because sometimes the buttons can be accidentally be pushed which can change the mode setting or power off the unit. Unit has good sound. Excelent m3 playe has a lot of options about equalizer and other stuff, the headsets are soo good, loud and with good bass, clear sound etc. among other features the sony media player its a very good tool for music and video player.
Mp3 players are becoming extinct amidst smart phones, so I certainly didn't want to pay full price. Do yourself a favor and buy a refurb for $30. Works beautifully and since it's a Sony and not an Apple product, it's easy to operate, durable and won't drive you nuts trying to load music. Superb value!
