This mouse is a little dated sensor wise but works great and is comfortable to use. I have most of the Razer Deathadders from this model on and I love them all. Recommended for an inexpensive option for a gaming mouse.

I had thought I wrote a review on this already, but perhaps I am mistaken. I like helping others make informed decisions about their purchases. The good: It is very ergonomic. There is a high arch that conforms to the contour of your hand and makes it quite comfortable. The synapse software is fairly comprehensive and there are many settings to fool around with. The bad: I don't know what part of the mouse it is, but it gets very warm. Even if it has sat for 20 minutes it is warmer than any other mouse, and it only gets warmer with use. Also, while it is ergonomical, there is little control that you have over the mouse. As you attempt to move it side to side or lift it off your fingers slide off. A very good alternative all around is the Roccat Kone Xtd. This is very large mouse that uses a palm grip, but the grooves allow a grip that gives you very fine control whether you are trying to line up a head shot or lift the mouse to readjust on the mouse pad. As a further addendum, I will add that both the back and forward buttons are repeating. Instead of going through the hassle of returning it I decided to replace these buttons myself. I never got around to it. Through use the problem seems to have improved by about 25%. It's annoying, but still useable. Anyways. I keep the Roccat mouse and the Razer mouse both connected side by side and if I grow tired of using one I switch to the other. However, hands down the Roccat is the better mouse.Read full review

The Razer DeathAdder Gamming Mouse is fairly large and completely fills my medium sized hand. Buttons are not as sensitive as magazine reviews seem to state, but it's nice not to have missclicks. I was used to a micro mouse so it took me a while to feel comfortable using the DeathAdder, but over all the ergonomics are astonishing. It's form sits poised for action beneath the hand. Responding correctly somehow to the slightest touch it delivers the solid cursor placement necessary to put more n00bs out of commission in fewer seconds than I ever thought possible. As for the cons, the driver, Synapse 2.0 sucks memory on non gamming type PCs but is fine on even a low end gaming rig. Under certain rough conditions like backpacks, cafes etc. the cord's sheathing may fray. If those small caveats are deal breakers for you, you're gonna miss-out on the best gaming mouse 2013. And since it's already 2014, try to get the best deal you can. I paid 37$ for a lightly used one.Read full review

Feels great, clicks great, the scroll wheel rolls smoothly with just the right amount of feedback. Warning: Unlike bright laser mice, this mouse may not work on unevenly textured surfaces, you need a solid color surface or the cursor will skip around. It was unusable on this wood-textured desk at first, but I didn't bother getting a mousepad and had an appropriately smooth+black piece of cardboard that made for a comfortable surface. The mouse is now very precise and responsive. Software: The mouse does not come packaged with any disks and works great with Windows settings, however if you want more options, you can go to the razer support site and get the "Razer DeathAdder Windows Legacy Driver". It's a program with has settings for the sensitivity, polling rate, DPI and the two lights in scrollwheel and logo. I used it to disable both of the lights (too bright for me) then uninstalled it and rebooted, the lights remain off with no further hassle.Read full review

This is not an original. They've tried their best to replicate everything from the package but let's face it this ain't authentic razer. Works fine but it is just not as nice to use as my original DA which I had for over 6 years.

Yeah I probably should have expected it was coming used for such a cheap price but they should really put that in the description or title
