Easier than any other method of dampening i have ever tried, and i have tried nearly everything. Now that it comes in clear color rather than blue it does not detract visually from the appearance of your drums. Doesn't leave residue. Can be easily removed, moved, and reused. Highly recommended!

Just how quick the words come of the container, is just how quick those moongels work time you slap them on your drumhead. The fact that they are washable and reusable makes them even better. These help me dial down that nasty ring I hear coming from my snare drum. The current batter head I'm using is Evans Hydraulic Black. The resonant head is a dw head partner with remo, with dw true Tone snare wires. So i'm switching the wires and the bottom head to see if the ringing along with buzz gets eliminated. Overall these are awesome!!!

I've used these for years, but i used the blue. They used to only come in 5 packs to, 6 is great for all my toms. I love these clear ones. Anyone living in the stoned age still using studio rings needs to upgrade to these.

If you have clear heads, you now can have almost invisible damping. Even if your heads are not clear, you don't have the have that blue patch showing. I've used Moon Gel's for years and they do stick and do a nice subtle job of taking the ring out of your heads. They are easy to remove and reapply. The only problem I've found is that they are a draw to kids who think they are some kind of toy. That's where I've lost several sets through the years. I recommend Moon Gels and would buy them again.
