The Echo remote is a great addition to the Echo device. It's easier to use to tell Alexa what to do without having to start every command by saying "Alexa". You just push the up or down button for the volume or the side buttons to go to the next song on an album. All in all, I like using the remote better than having to get Alexa's attention every time I want her to raise or lower the volume.
