Quality, plain and simple.
I have a makeup bag full of eyeliners that i bought when I ran out of my Clinique quickliner for eyes over the years. Its closer to CVS or Walgreens than Nordstroms but every time i regret not driving the extra miles for my Clinique. It really is an amazing eyeliner. It stays on all day and night, it keeps the color which i use Slate and smidge it under my lashes top and bottom for a smokey look and it last a long time. The cheap brands like Maybeline, Loreal, and others just dont have the same consistency and they dont stay in place and I always regret not going out right away to buy more Clinique.
