2003 Cavalier was showing a P0442 (check engine light) evaporator leak code. Turns out the original gas cap was failing to seal. This fixed it. Had to use a scan tool to erase the code first. Light has not came back on for three weeks now. Update: This did not fix the problem. Turns out their was a vacuum leak beneath the car on one of the lines going to the fuel tank,

I found this gas cap to be a very good value and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived. It was an exact match to my old one. Thanks.

Gas cap fit my car, however, I had to drill the hole a little bit bigger to attach the pigtail (tether).

Worked just fine in my 2001 blazer. I crossed referenced the ac delco part number. Sometimes with ac delco stuff. You can save a few dollars.
