Product Information

The Shure SM10A is a low-impedance, unidirectional dynamic microphone designed for close-talk head-worn applications such as remote-site sports broadcasting and corporate intercom systems. It is also ideal for singing drummers, keyboard artists, and other performers who need a head-worn vocal microphone with superior noise rejection and a smooth, natural-sounding frequency response. The SM10A is very lightweight and is typically mounted on the supplied steel headband assembly. An adjustable pivot on the headband assembly allows the microphone boom to be moved 20 degrees in any direction. The boom also slides out so the microphone can be positioned up to 89 mm (3 1/2 in.) from the pivot housing. A supplied windscreen reduces wind noise and explosive breath sounds.

what my oppinion is of a shure sm10 mic
I guess for the price range that it is in, one shouldn't down it to much. The volume out put isn't good and the EQ leaves alot to hope for. If you use it along side a Audix OM2, you have to run it through an external EQ to be able not get exsessive feed back. I buy them because I don't want to spend $300.00 on a head set mic, while the Audix OM2 sells new for under $100.00 and preforms 75% better.

Shure mic great as described
A pro level mic..only fail is the belt clip. The clip is not sufficiently surrounding the collar and keeps falling off the xlr connector.

Great old school headset
You cant go wrong with Shure. A little old school but does the job. Need to wear a sweat band to keep it on, at least for a drummer.
