All's good if you can work out an internet connection
The tricky part of this unit is getting an internet connection. There is no built-in wi-fi, and the recommended usb wi-fi dongle has been discontinued. The price is existing dongles is way too high, 3 to 4 times what I paid for the player. Not being a network specialist, I researched it. Alternative dongles, if you can find them, are still pricey, and there's no guarantee they will work. It does have a port for an ethernet cable, and though my unit is not close enough to my internet router to connect it to the router, I have a wi-fi extender with an ethernet cable out that I plugged in nearby and connected my ethernet cable from the extender to the blu-ray unit. It plays SACD discs which is why I bought it, and the quality is good. The ebay entry indicated there was no remote, and it's impossible to use this unit without, so I ordered a new remote for less than $10.
