I bought a Nikon Cool Pix P580 last summer. A nice and handy camera which I enjoy very much. But it has one serious shortcoming. Delivered with but one battery which has to be charged mounted in the camera, and it cannot be used for hours on end while charging goes on. This means that halfway into the party, the walkabout or whatever, it’s no more pictures for a while … This was a shortcoming I didn’t like this at all so I logged me on eBay one day and started looking for a solution. (To find whatever I am looking for on eBay I’ve always found easy and fast, by the way.) And I found it! A set with two batteries for the camera and a separate charger was offered. I bought it and waited. The package came promptly as promised. I charged the batteries and tested them in the camera. Both worked perfect. The charger even charges the original battery.
