I owned an original yellow gameboy back in the nineties, which served me well. After coming in contact with a gameboy pocket at my sister house, and of all games it had. It had to be Mario 2 six gold coins, I had to get one. My original yellow gb had seen better days and yet i couldn't part with it. I found buying this lovely green gameboy pocket to be my new friend. Works great, no problems and i love that it only takes 2x AAA batteries. The 'no back light' wasn't an issue, just play in good light, like if your reading a book. no problem!
