When I got my Honda Ridgeline, I learned that the make was very particular regarding all fluids…from power steering to anti freeze. So I always followed that cardinal rule. After driving it several years, a service 13 b wrench code came up recommending an automatic transmission fluid service. With 225,000 miles I was told by many mechanical enthusiasts and owners that it was too late to change the fluids for the tranny, diff and transfer case. That the window had closed and I was asking for trouble. I ignored them and changed front and rear differential, transfer case and transmission fluids with Honda proprietary. Not only does the car run better it became quiet and boosted a 20% gain in fuel economy. Fear of disaster can impede the necessary maintenance of any auto so park that and move forward. Thanks, my rear differential was binding while making slow turns, after I changed this oil in the rear differential, an hour later the noise and symptoms went away completely. Make sure you open the full plug before opening the drain plug

Genuine as it states. Was having some grinding issues in reverse with the Honds pilot. It was throwing codes and running rough. This fluid fixed it all. ABS/Brake light no longer staying on. Runs like a champ

Hated to pay the 30-some bucks for a gallon, but this solved my (MDX's, not mine!) "growling in the rearend" problem. Thanks!
