Way cool, the ultimate sound experience.
It has the Standard 5.1 configuration, which allows me to reuse my existing instalation and then it expands to 6 more surround speakers, to give me a more detailed sound experience, using Imax DTS for specific Imax content, or DTS:X for just about anything. Then for an even more spatial effect you can choose to substitute some of those speakers to be Dolby Atmos surround speakers (ground based pointed at the ceiling to bounce sound back down to your ears) or opt for Aura-3D surround virtualization where you substitute some of the surroud speakers for speakers installed in the ceiling or high on the wall pointing at you. OR... more advaced yet..,you can install them all and make a switch (build) that can change the spearker configuration on demand to go for through all surround modes just to show off. Or, with an extra amp you may have on hand, go for 2 extra surround speakers and end up with a way cool 13.2 home theater setup... If you want, you can still top that with bass shakers on your sofa... Once you go shakers, you're spoiled and you can never go back...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
