The light works as expected and is really fun to watch. Installation was quick and easy. I would order more if they were less expensive. Shipment was speedy, love everything.

I put the first of 3 on a small tank car. The wires going from the wheel base, to the flashing light/coupling are slightly short. When it goes around a right turn it pulls the coupler over and derails the wheel set. I will try it on another car, but may have to extend the wires.

Works as it should, rolls great, but be prepared to have to figure out a way to mount it due to the mounting hole being so big. I used washers and an upsized mounting screw to get it to rotate freely and at NMRA height. There is a lot of bleed through the back of the circuit board from the LED, so hand painting it black solves that. 8/10

The wide mounting hole on the trucks make standard screws too small. Need washer to adapt screws. Now as a FRED my trains will have to run restricted speed. Will have to use SBU EOT for full speed. CSX EOT repairman, retired.

This product works well as described as a red flashing light on the back of the last car. Fortunately, I have a few Bachman cars so I only needed to replace the rear truck on a box car. Easy task only taking a few minutes.

It does work well. Too solve the big hole, I cut a sliver of tubing 0.156 tubing to fit around the 1/8" bolster shoulder and added a washer that covered the truck enough, so it worked on a non-Bachmann car. The EOT is large but looks neat with the flashing light.
