I never have shot these cameras (analog and digital) on automatic. Plus, the company seems to be owned by a different consortium every few years. Plus, they basically say "see ya later!" after 4 or 5 years and you won't get good technical service for anything less than the cost of a couple of high end 35mm HDSLR's. But. I say the system is one of the best you can get for portraiture, fine art and fashion. And you can pull the back off the Hasselblad and stick it on your large format rail camera (Sinar, etc) and use that system for top product and architectural. Buy it used as the price drop is insane at this highest end level.

This Fuji made "Hasselblad" is basically the go to workhorse of medium format equipped professional shooters. And well to do amateurs. It's not at all friendly like a so-called DSLR. Not at all. But neither were 2 1/4 Swedish built Hassies or Sinars or any other near industrial camera. That said it's slow and heavy and has few lens options and it's still one of the best camera systems in the present digital world. Big pixels are still supreme to smaller denser pixels. 36 MP in a Nikon or 40+ in an upcoming Canon still do not connote "serious shooting" like these buggers. That's why I have five or six of them. I'm not a hobbyist or a "lovely scene" shooter. It's a business necessity. And 40MP is neither ideal or a maximum. It's in the middle. So is this a review or a rant? Hitler only knows.
