I've had this type of cell for years. Camera is pretty good, user friendly, great connections - never get drop & everyone is clear & sharp, long battery life, easy to read. It's a shame they don't still make this cell phone as it's probably one of the best LG made (I have tried a couple of others with newer features & returned them as they weren't as good as this one). Of course, a better camera would be nice, a speaker phone, & lots more storage for messages & pictures. But I bought an aftermarket item that hooked on to my dash & I can use this handless (somewhat tinnie, but it does the job). Overall this is an excellent cell phone!
I had already made another review saying about the 6000 and how I had 2 that froze, and 2 that worked, then anyway, I know it's been awhile for since they came out. Well the other day I got one again. I really like it, one of the benefits of owning it is that it has a camera lens cover, so if in your pocket with something then it won't scratch your lens. I really hope more phones come out with this kind of design. The one flaw I have been having with this phone is, I'll go to send a message (text) and I'll press send to send the message, it wont send the message. I will have to take out the battery and coponents and insert them again to get it to power back on. This doesn't really bug me though, since it is not so signifficant and I just wanted to mention it to you, this phone gets a 5.0, i have owned the 6000, well more played with one at verizon when my friend was getting a new phone years back, and while the volume bug existed on the 6000, and some people claim for it to be on the v6100 i can surely say it isn't. Now I've owned a lot of phones, even a gzone, and they had flaws. This one out of the 19 or so I have owned has had the best call quality ever. Brought this cell phone and was represented of being used and when received phone never even looked like it was used. Worked with the Verizon system with no problem. I use this old phone because it has always been dependable and has a battery that lasts forever, maybe not forever, but longer then the new phones on the market.
I bought this older model cell phone because I have an older model "Hands Free" hard wired system in my truck. I am happy that people recycle older merchandise on e-bay as it gives me a chance to solve my problems without spending a fortune for some new device which I might not be as happy with.
