Long Shelf Life and Long Device Life
Duracell is probably the best of the best as far as alkaline batteries go. They have a long shelf life and keep working in devices long after lesser batteries have died. Buying in bulk is the best way to get them for a reasonable price, and the long shelf life means they'll still be good as new after sitting up a few years'. I highly recommend them for any alkaline battery device because they are worry-free, do not leak and last a long time.

I expected new batteries as advertised but did not get them.
I received my batteries and they were loosely boxed in a box too large for them. One was severely corroded . 87 out of the 100 had shelf life expiration dates of 2016. They were all marked NOT FOR RETAIL SALE. They were advertised as NEW , which apparently has more than one meaning. The ones I checked seem to be fully charged. In this case new does not mean recently manufactured or at least still within their shelf life.

Batteries are great
The batteries are great. They always have long expiration dates on them, so don't fear they will expire before you can use them. I have been ordering batteries from Butler for a few years now and I highly recommend them. They are quick and courteous with a great product.

Convenience of getting batteries at a good price.....
I love the idea of ordering batteries and getting them at a good price and prompt delivery. I cannot do either by going to a local store. Their prices are higher and usually at the bottom of my list. And the batteries are usually of a 2nd class brand.

It is necessary to have AA batteries around for so many things? Computers, toys for children, just about everything. When I brought these at the store I always got eight and then I either misplace the box or my husband would use four, leaving me just four :-( These packs are so convenient to replace dead batteries. I got my order and the expiration date is 2026. They are much more convenient to keep track of. Just perfect for me :-) and because they're so many these batteries will last for a long time. I use several of the Duracell AA batteries for various purposes in my home as battery operated shavers, flashlights and lanterns and buyng the batteries in quantity has always been the best. The AA's came in sealed plastic and were easy to access when needed-I think for the money Duracell works best for me
