    As expected, based on description and photos. Shipped quickly, ran SMART and Crystal Disk on it, no errors. The tests showed it had been used in a server application, Just over 3500 run hours (lower than expected, and MTBF on these is miles away on average for these) with only 39 starts, 97% Helium. This drive has many years of hard use left on it. Also ran quiet and relatively cool, so no issues there. No bad sectors on Scandisk. All in all, exactly what the seller listed. A++++ seller!

    Drives arrived incredibly fast and even quicker than the seller indicated. Phenomenal service there. They are exactly as described by the seller and have even fewer hours than stated. One drive was just less than 3 years of use and the other at 3.2 years. The warranty is very generous and all parameters of the drive checked out when scanned with Crystal Disk and SMART. Super quality product and will definitely be buying more. These drives did require the provided power cable to boot up, just FYI

    Drives were as described. Testing came up with no issues. The drives are a little noiser than my WD red pro drives. Three drives has 24000 hours on them and one drive had 16000 hours. The 16000 hour is different from the other three as it runs 10 degrees hotter. I expect that drive will fail before the only three. My initial email receipt states just the one year from allstate which concern me as it suppose to be a total of 5 years. I contacted gohardDrive and its good.

    Overall this is a fantastic budget hard drive. HOWEVER... I didn't know that I needed that special sata cable that came with the hard drive in order for it to work. This is a "data center" Hard drive and I had to do a lot of research to find out that there is a power reset feature built in that requires that cable. There are work arounds but they are risky (like taking a knife to a certain pin to shave it off) but this hard drive works flawlessly after I realized it needed that cable.

    Excellent drive and lots of storage.

    I purchased this drive to place in an external USB enclosure. After seeing that this style drive needed an adapter or some modifications to work properly, due to the power adapter, I looked into ways to make this work with the external enclosure. After placing some thermal tape over the 3rd pin on the SATA connector, this thing was instantly recognized by my computer and has been running solid since. There is a TON of storage and I'm feeling confident in this purchase.

I did have an issue with one of the drives working, but this company RMA'd it right away, and I had a replacement ASAP. I couldn't recommend these guys more, this is my 2nd order with them and they were extremely helpful and responsive. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for large drives that won't break the bank!

    Product received as expected

    Harddrives arrived with thick bubblewrap, with special cables. Initial impression is pretty good. SMART shows age of ~3.2 years and ~3.8 years, with around 10-20 power cycles. Quiet? Obviously not. This is a server-grade drive. They don't really do quiet. But it's not really that noisy. Fast? Haven't hit it with full workload yet. But so far in a NAS it is fast enough (probably bottlenecked by Wi-fi if anything). Reliable? So far so good I guess. Time will tell, and fingers crossed it will work even if I power it down for an extended period of time like my then-new Toshiba HDD.
