I have a couch with just enough clearance for it to slip under but gets hung up and sends out an error of a stuck wheel. It would be nice if there was a way to put a riser (1/4 inch) on the bumper to give it additional height to keep it from clearing the couch. Also, the vacuum works great. So good in fact that the hopper fills up with debris much quicker than it completes the job. A nice feature would be a larger hopper attachment to allow the vacuum to complete it job. Longer batter life and faster charge time would be nice too.

Roomba 980 review
I like the Roomba 980 according to cleaning but it has a couple of disadvantages I noticed: * Makes a lot of noise (more than older model) * So if for the noise you want to have it clean at night it gets lost because the camera is not infrared and there is no backup program (old Roomba) to my knowledge. It just stops because it cannot orientate. * Also I still cannot find the dust bucket in the Roomba but I'm sure that after reading the manual I will find it. But it's not logically marked. I would like to know from the manufacturer why they did not design or mark these things better.

Very good floor cleaner
We purchased a Rainbow vacuum cleaner in 1993. We keep our house floors very clean. We live in dusty part of Maui Hawaii. Weekly we know how much dust we collect with the Rainbow. This model of Roomba equals or out does our Rainbow. My wife is very picky about how clean the floor is. She says the Roomba is excellent. Of course it can't get everywhere but over all the 980 cleans every corner it tries to get into. We also had the opportunity to watch the Roomba 650 operate for a month but not at our house. The 980 cleans in a way more logical pattern so that at least it makes you feel it's getting everywhere. I could see the difference between the two Roombas features in how the 980 approached future, walls, and moving between rooms. I don't know if the person I purchased this 980 from is selling anymore but the purchasing process was very nice and easy. I guess the only question is how long will the 980 last. As long as our Rainbow? Only time will tell.

Good Product
It works great for sucking up dirt and pet hair. We do have a small issue with the product and its not the products fault. We have wood floors and area rugs scattered around the house which have designs in them, different shapes and circles. It will stop in certain areas of the rugs, I believe it sees the designs in the rugs and the cliff censors are picking this up thinking it going over the stairs and stopping. All we have to do is pick it up and restart and its good to go. It does beat having to drag the vacuum hose around.

Great product!!
We had an older Neato that kept having problems. So, I was about to purchase the new Neato with wifi. Decided to shop around. Found a review on YouTube showing the new Neato vs. New Roomba 980. The Roomba hands down had the best features and cleaned the best! We have a "German Shedder" and Yellow Lab and the GSD sheds so bad, the Neato could barely keep up. The 4 key features are: Wifi-controlled on your phone or on device; Rubber knobby tubes that direct dirt into intake instead of brushes (hair gets tangled bad on those brushes); Dirt sensor that will go over the area twice; Talks to you when it has an error (tells what the error is). Love it, a bit expensive but so much better than the Neato. Dirt bin holds a lot of hair & dirt too!
