First of all, I haven't reviewed the battery life because I own the flash for a short time, it's not a ZERO. The flash is very good, in every single point. Well built, nice touch, good working, good lightning power. It's some kind like a much better (and MORE expensive) flash actually. Doesn't look cheap at all. All modes work well, it's very nice using my old Metz36 as primary flash with TTL and this Yongnuo as a slave. The only negative point, it hasn't got TTL but it's known if you buy this flash. Very useful in strobist or like your primary flash after some uses, it's very easy to get accostumed. ONE ADVICE: I have a Sony a230 and at the first tries, the inner flash from camera tried to shoot. All you have to do is setting the inner flash in OFF (if your are mounting the Yongnuo on the hot shoe) and the Yongnuo in M mode. It will work ok, that's because this flash doesn't have TTL function. It comes whit a pouch, diffuser and stand for hot shoe so you can use it in SLAVE mode. The stands allows being connected to a tripod with a 1/4 screw. I'm very happy with it (at the moment, I hope this will be the same trough the time)Read full review
This is my second Yong Nuo YN560 II Speedlite. I purposely bought this older model because of the reliable performance of the first YN560 II unit. I shoot with a Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II camera and I have the Olympus speedlite with TTL capabilities. I fire all three flashes with radio control. Each flash has a purpose, as a main light, hair light and backdrop light. I fire each flash individually to see what it contributes to the photo and then fire them together for a properly light photo. The manual flash is easy to control and only takes a couple of shots to dial in the desired amount of flash. This is a very inexpensive solution for dramatic lighting.

Bought For My Sony Alpha A55 and mounts right up and works great. Wireless function also works so no need for an extra wireless trigger set when using off camera!! Pros: Awesome Speed-light For The Money.Lighting Quick Flash Recharge.Well Built. Cons: Sony's have issues with off brand flashes and Sony Alphas Do Not Recognize Flash And Brighten LCD Screen. But a small price to pay considering a name brand comparable flash is about 6 times the money.
excellent product, after searching for a long time and decided this because I was not wrong price is accurate quality, flash profecional high quality and easy to use thanks to its LED screen. very happy with purchase
Very nice flash. Not much of a flash user, but needed one for just in case and didn't want to drop nearly $500 for something I only occasionally use. This flash works great.
