This product performs quite well. The sound quality is very good, it's very comfortable, after about 2 hours though you need to take them off for 10 mins or so as your head can get a bit itchy. The only issue I have with this headset is that sometimes, but rarely, the mic does not work, or the sound cuts out sometimes, sometimes you lose control of your controller and have to turn it off and turn it back on. Other than that, this is a great headset if you are looking for good and affordable, if you are looking more for quality and can price a bit higher, I would recommend something from Astro.

This headset is good for gaming, but definitely not worth $60 brand new. Cons: -It feels really cheap, everytime I take them off I'm afraid they'll break when I sit them down. Although they haven't. -It's ugly while wearing them. The head band stretches and looks horizontally flat on top, and wide on the sides. -The mic is too short. People can barely hear me unless I pull the headset forward so the mic is closer to my mouth. Pros: -Fits snug. But be sure your ears are centered or they will start hurting after 45 minutes or so from tightness. -Earpads are comfortable. They get a little warm after a while but they are soft and tight on the head. -Sounds good. Explosions, gunfire and dialogue are all clear with deep bass. Some sounds seem to come from outside the headset. I have no complaints when watching movies and listening to music with these. My con about them looking ugly while wearing them is just a personal opinion, some people might not mind the look at all. The audio isn't great, but good for the price. I feel that the cons I listed bring the value down. I don't recommend paying full price for these, but they are worth an easy $40.Read full review

It's a great headset, the depth to the audio is perfect and the mic works great. Usually my friends can hear me crystal clear (when they can't it's an internet connection issue. Definitely worth what it's priced at (buy it from pezzs_inc, it's $45 or so). I recommend using Nyko Rechargeable Batteries or something similar due to the fact that it will will drain batteries somewhat quickly (maybe cause I use crappy CVS batteries). If I had to rate it out of 10, I'd give it a 9.5 because it sometimes gets a little uncomfortable.

I'm sure it's great for people looking to purchase a headset like this because the price is pretty good (all as per the reviews, as well), however the title of this specific listing was a bit misleading. As far as I have researched, this isn't a wireless headset. There essentially isn't a such thing as a "wireless headset" for the Xbox One (what I purchased it for) quite yet, so I don't *quite* understand the implication of the word, in the title - a title that said it was compatible with the Xbox One. Then again, it didn't specify. I was under the impression that it was and it had great reviews, although not specific reviews. I may still be wrong about its' wireless capabilities with Xbox One.

When we buy an expensive $100+ set of Turtle Beach and think the sound quality is awesome, think again. The sound quality of these is so much better quality that I have no words to describe. You can actually hear an eco in the distance from someone trying to snipe you, and then determine exactly where they are from the echo. Thought TB were good, but actually were just okay. These A40's give you enough perception of sound to determine who is trying to stalk you in a game and make them stop and run away, or fall down.. The outer ear piece covers are held on by magnets, no junk plastic clips to break. So if I want to move the mic to the other side, switch ear cover from side to side and done. One ear cover has a hole for the mic to fit in. No clips to break... The build quality is way better, no question at all. When we spend a lot of money for a headset and it breaks after 6 months, or a year after purchase I am very resentful because when you send TB in for warranty , they send the same broken headset back stating, " No Warranty Due To Abuse".. This A40 headset is very solidly constructed. I am completely over buying junk that breaks too soon. Spend the extra money, buy it once and have it for a lifetime. Buy it once, buy it for life.Read full review
