This is a quality part but keep in mind that it is a MIM part and required some fitting through filing and polishing the casting marks on the backside and end to allow it to release on slide pull back. I installed this on a brand new TISAS Duty SS .45. Satin finish was a pretty good match. For double the money go for the Bullet Proof model which is machined from bar stock stainless steel. Better finish and fit. Wilson Combat parts are great. Otherwise great service and prompt shipping.

I lost my factory slide catch while cleaning my 1911 (rip) and bought this bad boy. Great quality, and finish match against my stainless Colt. Feels a little more weighted than the factory one. The best part? Absolutely no fitting required! In addition to this I have a beavertail, trigger, and hammer from Wilson Combat and I can’t recommend them more. Buy it already!
