Liked the first unit enough to perchase a second unit. For the cost of the merchandise and shipping 53 bucks plus change for one unit, well worth it. Quality of merchandise, ease of assembly, prompt shipping and nice style make it all the much nicer. Totally solved my storage space issue for my vinyl record album collection. With the two units side by side I can place my turntable on top of the two units with approx, eight inches to spare on each side of my turntable. My record collection will fill 3 1/2 to 4 of the 6 shelves. With the ttwo remaining shelves available to store more albums as my collection grows. I shopped for a few months but everything just did not work. Everything else either nice but a lot more than I felt was worth it or the price was acceptable but the merchandise had bad reviews or some other issue like size or shape. Then I found these baby’s. Previous purchasers rated the merchandise highly, so I bought one. Got it, liked it, so I bought the second.Read full review

I needed a storage cabinet of some sort for my record collection. I looked at this cabinet and the reviews seemed pretty good overall. It arrived in a shipment box that was well constructed but did have a few dings on the corners of the bos; luckily the inside cabinet was not affected. It was super easy to put together and although the directions did not call for glue I put wood glue in the joints between the shelves and the 2 long sides. I've bought other "wood product" cabinets for my record collection (which is very large) and those cabinets did not last as long as I had hoped. The top and sides of this cabinet are extremely thick and when put together the whole unit is very stable. Additionally, the top/bottom are solidly attached to the sides via sturdy bolts. I think this is a very good cabinet for the money and much better quality than I expected. I was impressed by the quality of the construction and by the manner in which the pieces are attached together. A good buy and will definitely hold the 160 or so records that I currently have on the 3 shelves. Definitely a bargain at the current price!Read full review

These shelves are very sturdy and utilitarian. I was going to make these myself. I’m a professional woodworker and I own my own shop, so after seeing these on eBay, I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did, I bought two of the shelves. They arrived on time and when they did, I was greatly astonished. For something made out of particle board, these shelves are very thick, about 2 inches on the sides, top, and bottom. The assembly was easy, only taking about 15 minutes to put the first one together and about 5 minutes for the second one. The directions for assembly were outstanding, They were very clear and concise with plenty of pictures and diagrams. That blew me away, since this is manufactured in China. The parts were all labeled so it was easy to find where what went. The hardware was grouped into separate baggies that made it easy to locate the pieces of hardware. Overall, it would have cost me twice as much to make these instead of buying them. Glueing up panels of particle board, then trimming to size would have been hard on my saw blades. It was a lot better to not have to do that. The finish on the outside is excellent, a nice dark brown black. It is packaged well with plenty of styrofoam to absorb any hits it will take during shipping. overall, would I buy these again? You bet I would, I just bought 2 more of the shelves before I wrote this review. Last but not least, each of the three cubicles will hold about 70 LP Records for a total of about 210 Records conservatively. Maxed out you’re looking at about 225-230 for the whole shelf. I don’t like to pack my albums in like sardines. Also the shelf will stand up vertically or horizontally. Both ways look great. If you do use it horizontally the manual says that you can stack up to 135 pounds on top. I do believe that is highly underrated. I turned it on it’s side and sat on it, even bounced a little and it was solid as a rock. I say that because I’m 6’4 and weigh 300 LBS. One could use them to sit on but they would have to be reinforced with angle brackets to prevent racking. These are some pretty good record shelves. The only downside that I can see is there is no back on the thing (that would prevent racking too). Up against a wall, it won’t be a problem. I will add a back some time later. It’s not hard to do, just my preference. Bottom line, I don’t think there is anything better out there on the market right now for record storage that has this kind of strength, good looks and capacity for the price. Oh, and did I mention that it has a strap to attach to the back of your wall if you live in earth quake country.Read full review

I wanted something compact and nicer than milk crate storage for my classic LPs and this is it. There were a few small scuff marks on the finish but I was able to touch them up with a marker. Easy assembly.

It was pretty easy to assemble and supports both my receiver and turntable, and nice storage for my vinyl records underneath. Totally recommend it!
