I already had one of these and really liked it, and this one was at a great price and free shipping. It arrived earlier than expected, well packed and it is in great shape. Good, sturdy -- but light -- tripod, adjusts to my eye height. Good solid aluminum and sturdy plastic construction. Nice quick-release plate (compatible plates can be found online new and used). Not a fluid head, but easy and smooth movements.

Finally splurged for a decent spotting scope and wanted a SUBSTANTIAL tripod that won't shake too much in the wind. Looked at dozens of scopes and all were spindly for the sake of less weight. Good for cameras, but not great for mounting a scope. Notice the width of the legs on this unit. Sturdy! The scope attaches via the common screw-in method. The central pole cranks up and down easily. All adjustable joints clamp down once in place for a stable base. Only negative I've noticed is the lack of a spreader for the legs. That would allow you to splay all 3 legs at once. As it is I must set each leg separately. Not huge, but a touch I wish they had included.
This unit is like brand new!! 😊 Replaced the same tripod I bought back in 1976! Love it, everything is tight!! Thanks!!!
