Easy to use converter

I have lots of old movies and when I saw this movie I had to buy it, it's easy to use for my vhs movies to cd transfer, but now I gotta get a vhs player, I know its funny but at least I got the converter, well worth it and I do recommend it.

DO NOT BUY!

TOTAL GARBAGE. Does not work with my VCRs. Tested with 2 machines. Tried S-video connection too but that option was grayed out in the software. Picture was terrible, divided in two, lots of static etc. Tested my VCRs with a TV and they worked fine. What did I expect for 11 bucks?

This hardware/software combo was perfect!

This little device, which included both the hardware, and the software, did just what it said, and was super easy to use. It gave me the ability to save my VHS tapes as digitized files, and also to burn them to DVD. I have plenty of hard drive space on my home network, so just putting all the converted tapes into a master folder made the whole process easy, and searchable. I'm really happy with my purchase, and not to mention that the price was unbelievably low!

Works as intended!

Had some old family VHS tapes that needed to be digitized before the tapes fell apart. A few hiccups getting it to work in the beginning but after a few tries, it works just fine. Video quality in my specific situation was good (it's a 30-year old VHS tape, not much quality to start with), though the "best" picture setting creates outrageously large video files. If you're converting VHS, don't use the highest setting - I guarantee you can't tell the difference. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a simple analog video capture.

Works Very Well On Win 10

Tested it with a Nintendo Wii console using OBS software. Setup was simple and had to play around with the settings to get the whole experience. Quality on the console was at 720x480 @ 50 FPS which is the maximum I can do. I am using the OEM Nintendo Wii RCA cable so this configuration was expected. I will continue testing it out with different types of sources but it works 100%. Quality and functionality works pretty decently. I recommend it as a way to convert VHS to digital files or as an emergency backup AV card adapter for a video streamer.
