Herman Munster/Car 54/Judge (My cousin Vinny) & Author
If you have ever read Amelia Bedelia books and loved them, you will love this book! For a new generation, and the darndest things that kids say and the way they perceive what grown-ups say without realizing it! Funny, sweet and perfect for children (and grown-ups too!) Written by Fred Gwynne who most of us know as Herman Munster from the TV show 'The Munsters', or the big guy from 'Car 54 where are you?' or most recently the judge from 'My Cousin Vinny'. Fred Gwynne was a great comedian-actor and comic writer also. This is just one of several books by him, and I've started my collection!
The King Who Rained
Fred Gwynne really knows the mind of a child, thank God, he was inspired to put these books together. This book was required text for my Education Courses in College. It opened my mind to a whole different way of hearing and seeing words, from the point of a child. This is an excellent Book and one that you will want to add to your personal library, to sit down and read for just light reading and to share with the little dears(deers) in your life. A book to pass down from generation to generation. You do want this book.
