I am really impressed with how far UTG has come in the past several years. The fit and finish on these are great, very easy to adjust and they hold zero on both my 5.56 and 300BLK platforms. These are not spring loaded but they lock in well in both positions. The sight picture is great and these sights will be my go to for all future and past builds. Despite some complaints in other reviews about the plastic bearings, I like this feature, it does not wear the finish to produce that little stripe as others do and provides smooth and quiet operation while still locking the sights firmly in place, as some may be aware certain plastics are actually better for these applications due to wear and abrasion resistance. These are aluminum and very light weight and they look quite nice, not as chunky or blocky as others. I have used everything from $3 made in China sights up to Magpul Pro and Troy and everything in between, and although I love the high end sights I really don't feel that they confer any advantage or better performance than these. save some $$ and get these if you are looking for reliable quality flip up Irons. I know many people look for specifics in these reviews so these sights have been used for off hand and bench rest/bipod out to 300 meters. have fired well over 1K rounds with these on both DI and Piston platforms with barrels ranging from 14.7 to 20". I typically mount the rear as far back as possible and the front as far forward as my rails will allow to achieve the maximum sight radius. I have used the rear in conjunction with the standard F marked front sight/gas block and did not have any problems zeroing. I have also incorporated these with other sighting systems and had no problems with co-witnessing.

Be careful tightening bolts
Looks and feel great. Reliable and durable. Only issue is that the bolt allen bolt is quite fragile or I just tightened it too much. I can't take the rear sight off without damaging the bolt. It was easily stripped. So for me it's stuck on one rifle. I won't be upgrading till this rear sight actually fails.

Better than expected!
I bought this for a lightweight hunting rig I put together. I can't stand not having a BUIS on a scoped AR but I didn't want to spend a bunch for something that may never get used. The reviews all seemed positive so i bought it and I'm glad I did. It mounted well and lays flat on the rail. Flips up easily and stays put when shooting. Got it zeroed in no time. Good value for your money.

Best Iron Sights
Easy to install. Perfect flip up/flip down design means I can use my scope or red dot sight at the same time. Easy to calibrate(front post needs a needle nose plier or a special tool). Held zero after 200 rounds and counting. Great quality at an affordable price point.
