Do I specifically like the Transcend M.2 SSD? A big yes to that one. I read plenty of reviews from professions. One reviewer said that Transcend tests each and every 120 GB M.2 that they make. Other lesser brands don't and have a higher failure rate. So this is the third drive of this exact band and type I've bought. They work really well in Chromebook to LinuxBook mods. That's the use I have for them. I buy them for $27 on eBay. The lesser drive won't save you much and may cost you more if they fail.

Great value in this solid state drive. It'll improve performance over a traditional hard drive and put your older laptop on par with newer models, especially if you're converting a Chromebook with say 16Gb of space to a Linux machine.

Well packaged and easy to install. Installed on a new Acer Swift 1 that had a 64 gig mmc drive. It gave me more speed and hard drive space.
