    Great Reader for Adults and Children Alike!!!

    All one has to say is-It's Written By Burke Davis. I've read his books since my father introduced me to them when I was a kid. As a Grandfather and former History Teacher of 30years, I am now introducing my Grandchildren to Mr. Davis' work. This book is an absolutely charming reader of stories from the "Late Hostilities." They are humorous yarn that has lasted the ages. You and the Children will enjoy!

    I chose to buy this book because I like reading about the Civil War. The Civil War has affected most Americans who were here at the time. The book was very well written and exactly as pictured. For the cost, I could not ask for more.
