The unit performs exactly as advertised; easy to set up and use, and it sounds great. The key is plugging a guitar into the unit so that it can adjust harmonies based on the chords being played. My wife and I perform cover tunes in our classic rock electric duo and we each use one of these daisy-chained together with my guitar signal. That way we can switch off on lead vocals and both provide nice background harmonies (Fleetwood Mac, Doobies, Eagles, etc.). The harmonies are often what's in the original recording, but even if not exact, they're always in key and really fill out the vocals.

I believe this is a good product. It is not very easy to use but I am not very good with so much technology. There are so many options and settings it will take a long time to really rate the device

Slight learning curve, but presets are definitely quite usable. As with any progress it's not always better, just different. Seems like TC took this product and subdivided it into a few different pedals going forward. I'm sure they are well made and may have updated algorhythms but, for the money these older G-xt's are well made work horses. To get better than this you'll need a voice-live model.

Easy to use, solidly made. Only quibble is lack of a power switch. Minor indeed.
