While the body can readily absorb Vitamin B12 as cobalamin it must further convert it to a coenzyme form methylcobalamin to become metabolically active. Tablets plus shot WORKS
Solgar has consistent quality products. Sublingual B12 is better absorbed by the body as stomach acid breaks down swallow tablets. I have not had B12 measured in my blood, but do seem to have a little more energy when taking B12. Grandpa is deficient in B12 and gets a shot once a month. Since taking the sublingual his B12 remained higher than normal levels between shots. With just a shot the level dropped off by the end of the month. He probably could just take the tablets and not get a shot...

This is the BEST B12 on the market. It has been recommended to me by every Natural Health Professional that I ask. Like mostly anything else, it will take several weeks to "kick in" and start working. Up to 6 -8 weeks for some, or longer. Keep taking them! This is something your body will always need. 5,000 is the best dosage. We are ALL deficient!! Request blood work from your Doctor for B12, magnesium, A and D deficiencies. A good B12 5,000, B-Complex, magnesium and D3 5,000 is what you need daily.
