|Game Name:||Star Wars: The Force Unleashed||Release Year:||2008|
The movie series may be over, but the saga lives on with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The storyline takes place between films Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, with the Galactic Empire nearing the peak of its far-reaching power. You are none other than Darth Vader's secret apprentice, engaging in covert missions to defeat those with designs on dismantling the Imperial regime. As in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions, the action is viewed from a third-person perspective with the apprentice holding his red lightsaber behind his back. The Force can be used as a tool or weapon to lift and throw objects as well as bodies. While the narrative is the same across all versions, the PSP game features an exclusive historic missions mode. Players will revisit five scenarios from the feature films, including the showdown between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in Cloud City.
The main game finds the protagonist traveling to various worlds in his relentless search for the few remaining Jedi who escaped Order 66. Featured locales include a TIE Fighter construction facility, the Wookiee home of Kashyyyk, a junkyard-like realm known as Raxus Prime, and a fungus-infested planet called Felucia. Each features groups of enemies that must be eliminated in stylish fashion, with Force power combos earning players experience points to customize their character. Accompanying the lead character at various points is a prototype "holodroid" called Proxy as well as a blond Imperial pilot named Juno Eclipse. The Sith Lord's apprentice faces several deadly foes throughout his mission, including Maris Brood, a Zabrak warrior bent on revenge, and the primary target: grizzled General Rahm Kota, who learned the ways of the Force under the tutelage of Mace Windu and Yoda.

Star Wars TFU PSP
Star Wars The Force Unleashed for PSP is a great game! The graphics are are not the best compared to the Xbox 360 or the PS3 but gameplay is great a few lags here and there in game but it's fun. I do suggest getting the 360 or PS3/PS2/Wii versions if your a stay at home kinda person if you like to play games on the go get this game it's great! loading is slow at time but overall fun and more fun you won't be able to put it down! It is a button masher though. The game includes 3 exclusive gametypes and I do believe 3 exclusive online maps. The gametypes are Order 66 this is where waves after waves of clones and other things are sent to destroy you there are 66 waves. The next one is duels where you duel other jedi and sith. The next is classic missions this includes 3 missions one is and Ep.3 classic countdooku battle the next is the classic cloud city battle between Luke and Darth Vader the next is the battle of the throne room between Luke and Vader again. To play these at the menu press force unleashed. If you find a copy for a cheap price purchase it even if you own it for a different console it's worth it! Hope this helps
Star Wars at its best on the PSP
Star Wars the Force Unleashed for the PSP is about as graphically impressive as the Xbox 360 version with an equally intriguing storyline. The game starts out as the same as the Xbox 360 version, with the gamer as Darth Vader on Kashyyk, home of the Wookies. Then the game takes the role of Vader's apprentice as he does the bidding of the Sith, destroying the last of the Jedi. The game has the player wanting to keep playing because of achievements and the player unlocking powers which makes him more powerful and thus kicking more ass. The same voice actors do the PSP version as the Xbox 360. Game in my opinion deserves a 9/10
I was very impressed with this game. If you have seen the PS2 version and liked it, you will like this version. It is the same thing. Same maps, same missions, and ALL of the force powers. There are fewer enemies, not a lot less, but a few less. This version is not the same as the XBOX version or the PS3 version, but from what I've seen of those, this one seems more like Star Wars. The other version seems to me like a different SciFi game. I bought this game to have a portable version for work, as there were long spans of time without customers. That might be why it closed. I still like having the PSP version, even if I have nowhere to go. Anyway, I like this game a lot, and I'd suggest it to anyone looking for a good game on PSP that isn't another dirt bike game.
SW: Force Unleashed! PSP
I bought this game because I like action games. It's fun to be able to use lightning as an attack, plus to be able to customize your own lightsabers and outfit. The only downside is that loading takes a while sometimes. Not sure if it's just the game or what, but it's really not a big problem. Overall, I was very satisfied and couldn't ask for more out of an action game.
