PS3 hard drive

The product came as pictured. Installed in the old "fat" PS3 without any issues. System recognized the drive, however when trying to install games over 600 MB I'm getting a hard drive failure error code. I have received the same error code with other drives, with smaller games, so I don't know if it's the fault of the drive or system itself.

Overall greatly pleased arrived earlier than expected but the one complaint I have is I went to play a game and it worked for about 2 min then shut off to a blinking red light tried another game and it worked but the first game refuses to play longer than 2 min the disc is practically new so it's not the disc just sad I can't play the game

Get the early slim version Ps3

These particular consoles overheat and require de-lidding of the two processors to get to the dried out thermal paste. Not to mention the ylod caused from the overheating over time..
