This is the third Sony cyber shot that I have owned. It is the best camera that I have ever owned. If your looking for a compact, easy to store in your back pocket camera, this one is not for you. If your looking for a semi- professional, easy to use and economically priced camera, this is your camera. The zoom is amazing. The video clarity is as good as it gets. My other cyber shots wouldn't zoom while the video was running, this one zoom's. I like that. I think it was something that was really missing on the previous camera's. I paid under $170 for this camera. It didn't come with a memory chip. I put in a 32 GB. The batteries where non-rechargeable so I bought 2 sets of the best I could find. I'm ready for that next cruise to Alaska. I'm gonna get every shot that I couldn't get before. Great camera, great price.Read full review
Speabking as an amature this camera has everything I was looking for in an upgrade as I always wanted increased zoom capability along with better low light picture quality which this camera provides. I have long been a Sony user and the Cyber-shot DSC-H200 has all that I was looking for and more. The only negative for me is that is a little too bulky too carry around in my and pocket, but all in all I am very happy with what I consider an excellent purchase.
Very cool camera, interfaces nicely with my macbook pro, easy to use on automatic focus. Batteries get used very quickly, though. Flash and motorize zoom work great but eat battery power. However, for the price and for my purposes, this is the ideal camera at the ideal price. Lots of elements I haven't learned how to use yet, though.
***** (five ) It has been a long time, since I used a Camera. It is easy to use. Pic. Quality, Features ****** Size/weight***** Value for money****. The biggest problem I have with this camera and others like it on the market is the lack of a viewfinder as found in DSLR's. When out in extremely sunny weather it is difficult to see the screen and when zooming it can be difficult to keep steady while trying to look at the screen. By using a viewfinder it gives you better stabilization by having it against your body.
