As old as this model is, it is perhaps the most reliable drive I've ever used among the dozens I've had, new and old. It's extremely durable, too. It can take a beating and work just fine after a restart (drive clicks off internally on impact) and there won't be any damage or data loss at all! Of all the drives I've been through, the is the first model with which I have NEVER EVER had any kind of problem or experience data loss. if you're looking to archive something sensitive for a low price, this is the drive for you.
