I am familiar with ladders, having been climbing them for over 45 years as a carpenter. I believe this product to be a good buy for the money- I like the multi-function features. HOWEVER- USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING PLUGS WHERE THE STABILIZER BARS ARE MOUNTED ON EACH END. When I slid out the "plugs" where the slits are located at the ends of both side rails, the metal has jagged edges where those slits were cut out. As I slid out the plug, my thumb was cut on the inside, the most calloused part of my thumb. I've had to wear tape around the wound, and after day 3 since the incident, I still can barely use that thumb. A little bit of filing in the factory could eliminate these sharp, serrated edges. Old farts like me feel real frustration when someone neglects to take pride in their work that may cause injury.Read full review

This is no ladder to climb a big roof, but it gets the job done for shorter projects. It's relatively sturdy, but it is wobbley when all the way unfolded. Locking mechanism is good, just takes time to unfold it. Overall this is a great product for the price. Would recommend to have if you don't need a ladder all the time like myself.

Great deal on a very versatile ladder. It's somewhat narrow but definitely sturdy enough for me (~200lbs) for household use. It's fairly easy to manipulate into whatever configuration you want, just need to be careful not to pinch your fingers in the joint (true of any ladder of this type). Much cheaper than my neighbors Little Giant and performs just as well (though notably lighter and easier to carry--~25lbs). Definitely recommend this ladder if you're looking for a cheap household staple.

excellent to do all errands in the house and no more excuse of no ladder. Very easy to handle and to accommodate into where you need it. It can not be used as straight up ladder on angles on 120 degrees .....better say lining too much to the downside. Also not recommended if you are a person of 200 lbs or more.

I had another one of these made by a national manufacturer. This is a decent ladder, much lighter weight - easier to carry around, but not suited to big jobs. There is a good amount of bounce when extended to the full height. I do wish the locks had a red warning when they were not properly engaged. Overall it's a good deal though and seems reasonably well built.
