I just used the magazine last night. The ammo was easy to load and it worked flawlessly. I may buy another since the price is reasonable. I love my super mag.

Factory Magazine
This is a factory magazine made by Savage Arms. These require a break-in to work properly. Load 8 rounds and leave it sit a few days, they are a pain the first few times but get smoother as time goes on. I love my .17 WSM Savage, shoots 5 shot 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards and 1 inch at 200. The magazine was shipped very promptly, great customer service.

this is my fourth magazine
typical factory item, fits well, functions as it should, and is of good quality. I just wish they would modify the inside wheel a little bit to make the cartridges load easier.

Wish it were metal
This magazine is pretty decent. It works, though it's a bit wonky to load. Holds 8 rounds of .17 WSM rim fire. Some additional parts made of steel, or at least aluminum for durability. The retention clip at the front is just polymer. Not sure how long it will hold up, especially in cold weather.

Good Magazines
These work really good in my Savage B-Mag 17 WSM rifle. No Problems at all. They are a little hard to load at first but after awhile you can see how they work and it becomes easier to load.
