|"Feel the Mach 3 power generated by Lockheed's incredibly fast SR-71 Blackbird Former SR-71 pilot, instructor and wing commander, Richard Graham, presents the most intriguing SR-71 stories ever told. This once highly classified program is fully revealed through the words of pilots, commanders, mechanics, and instructors involved in the Blackbird's creation and flight-testing. From grueling reconnaissance missions to the Persian Gulf conflict, this insightful book tells stories of bravery and daring determination." As outspoken in his day as Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens are today, American freethinker and author ROBERT GREEN INGERSOLL (1833-1899) was a notorious radical whose uncompromising views on religion and slavery (they were bad, in his opinion), women's suffrage (a good idea, he believed), and other contentious matters of his era made him a wildly popular orator and critic of 19th-century American culture and public life. As a speaker dedicated to expanding intellectual horizons and celebrating the value of skepticism, Ingersoll spoke frequently on such topics as atheism, freedom from the pressures of conformity, and the lives of philosophers who espoused such concepts. This collection of his most famous speeches includes the lectures: [ "The Gods" (1872) [ "Humboldt" (1869) [ "Thomas Paine" (1870) [ "Individuality" (1873) [ "Heretics and Heresies" (1874)|

Long live the Blackbird
Thank you so much for the book. I was a specially surprised to find that you had autographed it as well. I probably delivered a weather briefing to your crew at one time as I was a forecaster there the same time as Mr. Baldy. They offered me the civilian job there after Mr. Baldy retired but I was already called to a job in the bay area with a Weather consulting firm. 4 1/2 years at Beale AFB was pretty special. Again thank you and good luck. MSGT James W Harris IV, Ret.

Fast action high flying adventure for any aviation enthusiast. A must have!
This was the 4th book of Rich Grahams I have purchased. I believe I have them all now. This one doesn't disappoint! Once I started it I couldn't put it down. I love the stories and highlights of each of the Habu's as they began their adventures flying this plane. The stories told when this magnificent lady ruled the skies. To the bitter end due to our government's short sightedness. That said, I would like to thank Rich Graham for writing these books. Your books give people like me an inside look into a world I remember dreaming about as a kid. And gives everyone a chance to feel what it was like to be a Habu. God Bless and Thank you. Justin 7916
