Easy-to-find fabric storage
The idea here is very simple: cardboard “cards” in three sizes for winding and storing fabric. The cards are stiff and have a durable finish. They also have finger like short tabs to secure the fabric to the board. In practice, the boards are very useful for storing uncut fabric. The tabs are not very effective at securing the fabric, but the boards still are quite useful to store fabric on shelves or bookcases. You could make these yourself from poster board but it would take forever. I built a shelf unit of plastic milk crates secured with cable ties, and now have more than 100 “mini bolts” at my fingertips. Makes it easy to see and use my fabric stash!
